The Crooked Man

I made fanart of multiple RPG Maker/Pixel horror games in the past, The Crooked Man is another one of my favs but I hadn't made fanart of this one before, I wanted to fix that. It has an emotional, touching, meaningful and inspiring story, I love it.

The colouring techniques I used hopefully aren't bad. I made this during a break from a bigger project (that should be finished very soon), which is ironic because this picture has the opposite vibe as that.

David Hoover by Duke MacGahan's grave, he put a cigar box next to gravestone. I hate cigar smokes but they're both smokers, gotta draw things the way they are. I kind of came up with David's shoes.

Not hard to read for me at all but here are what the texts say if anyone is having difficulty reading; "...While trying to console him, I realized. The things I said to him were what I wanted someone to have said to me..." "Don't focus on the sad things... and I'm sure you'll notice... all the happiness hiding around you." "You know what I think...? The crooked man had a crooked body and only crooked things... But I'm sure he was happy living in his crooked house." all are in the game's dialogue.
